Artist Statement
Muhummed Mehmood is a sculpturally influenced photographer who implements various concepts into his work, combining physically captivating, as well as mentally abstract elements to create compelling pieces. His works primarily consist of sculptures based on popular media and is now branching out into more conceptual pieces of work.
Bio
Muhummed Mehmood is a Pakistani-American artist based in Houston who does mixed-media photography with a degree in Photography/Video at the University of Houston. His mission is to find a way to meld sculpture, photography, and print-making into captivating pieces that leave the viewer with a message to take in.
